PHASE

TWO

Phase 2 is all about bringing tennis closer together to effectively compete within the sports and entertainment landscape.

Our vision is anchored by a unified governance model across the sport. Ensuring we can make effective decisions, move fast, and deliver the right representation on important topics such as player compensation, calendar, rules, and more.

This works in lockstep with the aggregation of commercial rights. Enabling us to go to market with our most compelling proposition and reduce our fragmentation. In turn, creating better experiences for tennis fans across all touch points – broadcast, digital, sponsorship, and more. Creating the friction-free experience that our global fanbase has been calling for.

And, vitally: product. By coming together, we can optimise our tournament structure and format to ensure we’re maximising our sport’s growth potential.

We’ve already seen the success that collaboration can bring - delivering a unified response to the pandemic, growth of our biggest events, a joint fan app and a first-ever joint broadcast tender in Europe. Our ongoing work with the WTA towards the establishment of Tennis Ventures is also demonstrating its value unlock.

With Phase 1 in play, finding ways to advance this broader alignment is our focus. The road ahead is long, but an exciting one.
